IMANNA Expands Accreditation Scope
IMANNA Laboratory is pleased to announce that we have expanded our scope of ANAB accredited testing. This expansion builds on our commitment to provide the highest quality testing available.

IMANNA Response to COVID-19
To our many customers, suppliers and friends, IMANNA Laboratory wants you to know that we are here and operating at full capacity to meet your testing and certification needs. With the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, IMANNA continues to monitor the situation and will continue to operate with the safety of its employees at the forefront of our decision process. IMANNA listed with IMCI for CE and ABYC certifications in Europe.
IMANNA Laboratory, Inc., an independent accredited testing laboratory has been recognized by the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) related to the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) Marine Component Certification Program and the Recreational Craft
Directive for the European Union. With this recognition, IMANNA will be able to provide testing services for equipment to be approved under the ABYC and European Union Recreational Craft Directive for local and international customers.
IMANNA, established in 1983, is a privately owned independent testing facility providing the marine
product manufacturer a place where product development and certification testing can be accomplished
at a single facility thereby lowering the cost.
IMCI is a European Union based, independent, non-profit organization committed to adding value to
worldwide recreational craft industry by assessing compliance of companies, products, services and experts
with the highest recognized standards of quality and safety. IMCI is the leader in the field of certification in the
recreational boating industry.

IMANNA Receives ISO/IEC 17025:2017 ANAB Accreditation
IMANNA Laboratory is pleased to announce that we received ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation from ANAB (ANSI National Accreditation Board) on December 5th, 2019. For over 36 years, IMANNA has built a global reputation of providing high quality testing at reasonable prices. The attainment of this accreditation further demonstrates our commitment to provide our customers the highest levels of quality possible.
The ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation is the highest recognized quality standard for testing and calibration laboratories. For an organization to be ISO 17025 accredited, its laboratory must be able to consistently produce precise, repeatable and accurate tests and have implemented a rigorous quality management system. ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation reaffirms our commitment to quality, precision, accuracy, and to our customers.
Conducting highly accurate and repeatable product testing that can be trusted is the core of our business at IMANNA. We believe that many factors contribute to our ability to consistently produce this result, such as:
- Traceability of measurements and calibrations to national standards
- Technical competence of staff
